telescope was a kind of happy accident, I had made a sort of travelling watch box for a customer, they loved the shape but it didn't work as a watch box. so many people had commented on it during the making process that I decided to convert it to a bag, and it has become one of the most popular pieces in the collection. Telescope is made from a single piece of leather, cut and scored so that it can be folded to stitch, this not only makes it very robust, but also gives it gently curved sides. strap and buckle are added then edged and finished. telescope has a padded suede interior.
