There are many, many lovely aspects about running our business, CE leathergoods, but one we particularly enjoy are facilitating the workshops in our studio. Here we get to meet lots of different people with different stories and help them create a beautiful product they are proud of; we also get to eat a lot of biscuits and drink a lot of tea, definitely an added bonus!
We have been running lots of workshops in the studio recently and have helped people make traveller’s bag, luggage labels, renovated family heirlooms and created desk tidies (in hot pink!). We also had an Aunt and her great niece (from America) coming to make a dog collar and lead; such a great way to create special memories together. We have had enquiries about making leather jewellery and will be welcoming a family group of seven later on in the year to make desk tidies and plant hangers.
A workshop makes a lovely present for someone or is a perfect place to celebrate a special event either on your own with a friend or with a group. We offer half day and full day workshops and can suggest items for you to make or you can suggest ideas to us and we will tailor make one for you. You can choose leather of any hue; with notice we can source this for you.
If you are stuck for an activity over the summer holidays, we have availability in the middle of August for you to come and create with us.
If you are then bitten by the leather bug, we also run weekly group workshops where you can come each week to work on a project of your choosing with support from Cathy.
