At the end of October we had the pleasure of delivering workshops in Scarborough for the North Yorkshire Art School. As I walked Jupiter along the seashore the Full Hunter’s Moon was definitely exerting its gravitational pull as we experienced some dramatic, turbulent waves. Thankfully there was no drama or turbulence at the workshops, despite one of them being run in an rather an unusual way. Generally, I run a course with only one theme but on the Saturday, people who came on the course could make an apron, tote bag or tool roll. We had lots of happy people leaving at the end of the day and on the Sunday rather than wearing three hats I went back to one and ran a slipper workshop. We had eight people making slippers in eight different colour ways; either as a gift for others or for themselves. All left very happy with a gorgeous pair of slippers. It was a great weekend and we met some truly lovely people who made some equally lovely items.
