designer leather tote box bag
mynti was an extension of the first collection I made inspired by pared back danish design, I had just been to copenhagen, with an emphasis on strong shapes and clean lines. the type of leather I chose to use had a strong influence on what I could create, as it would only behave in certain ways and allow me only so much flexibility. each bag is created using hand cut panels of leather, the handles are punched and finished then the pieces are hand sewn together.

little mynti crosses the boundary between clutch bag and day bag, smart enough to use for special occasions but practical too. boxy styling gives the bag a clean cut look and the punched handles keep fussiness to a minimum. its easy to add an extra strap onto mynti if you'd like to have the option of wearing it over your arm, an extra pocket can also be added to the front for tickets, receipts or accessories.
